But, purchasing from Aboriginal brands, businesses and wearing Indigenous designs alone is surface-level allyship. There needs to be more commitment than just buying from Aboriginal brands and businesses.
Wearing Aboriginal design is not dismantling a system that oppresses Indigenous people. Allies need to do more and learn more. Wearing our tees is a great starting point. I really like the cardigan. It is good quality and the fit was good (I am a size 14 and ordered the XS/S). I thought it wouldn’t arrive till early March so I was delighted when it arrived a few days after ordering.
So they say we stole this land, Briggs says the children came back, I would like to think we only borrowed it and will give it back to the DreamTime Asp but I wish we left it better than we found it.
Great service and communication. Also glad that I've made the connection with you guys because the news emails have alerted me to issues that I was unaware of.
