We are a certified Aboriginal business through both Supply Nation and Kinaway Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce.

We are also a certified B-Corp and Social Enterprise through Social

We sure do! Everything we do, we do with Mob in our heart.

Pricing equity is really important to us here at CTG and one way we can do this is by offering 15% off for Mob, always – in store and online.

We get asked this question so much! To help navigate this conversation and to stop us repeating ourselves we have made it easier for our supporters and created some Ally Friendly and Mob Only symbols to guide your purchases.

Essentially, Ally Friendly pieces are for everyone. Mob Only pieces are just for Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander people to wear.

These symbols are located in all product descriptions on our website, and in store - making it easier for you to wear your values.

Shipping and Returns

We offer returns and exchanges on full price items (excluding socks and face masks) within 30 days of purchase, provided the items are unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached.

You can post your exchanges back to us, or if you’re a local on Wurundjeri Country, come visit the team at our Flagship Store.

We sure do from our flag-ship store in at 744 Sydney Rd, Brunswick, Victoria.

Simply select the 'Click and Collect' option at checkout and we’ll work on getting your conversation starter ready for you. We aim for next day collection if your order is placed Monday – Friday..

You will receive an email/text notification when your order is ready for pickup.

If you're in absolute urgent need of your click and collect, please buzz us (0413 344 590) before coming in to store. This gives the team time to get it ready for you/let you know if this is doable.

Ahh yes, we’ve all been there! We will do our absolute best to catch this and update it before it goes out.

Best bet is to email us with your order number and updated shipping address ASAP on hello@clothingthegaps.com.au or
call 0413 344 590 between 8am – 3pm (Melb time).

If your order has already been despatched, best bet is to contact AusPost directly to organise a redirection.

If your order is returned to us, we’ll need to collect a second postage fee to send it back out as annoyingly, we get charged again for it too.

We get it, sometimes we miss the post office too!

If your order couldn't be left in a safe place, gets taken to your local post office and then gets returned to us (Returned to Sender) - we'll reach out to let you know.

We'll double check if it's still the best postal address too, and if you're local, give you the option to come and collect it.

If we do need to re-post it out, we’ll need to collect a second postage fee to send it back out as annoyingly, we get charged again by AusPost.

We all get impatient when we’re waiting for something we love, we get it!

You can check the status of your order by logging into your account at the little person icon in the top right-hand corner of the website, and visiting the 'Orders’ section.

You will also receive an email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.

Great question! We do all of our own pick, packing and distribution here at CTG. Outside of sale and peak periods, we aim to fulfil orders within 24 hours of your order being confirmed on weekdays. We aim for orders placed Friday afternoon through to Sunday evening to be dispatched by Tuesday.

If you need your order urgently, we recommended selecting ‘Express Shipping’ at checkout and then sending us an email at hello@clothingthegaps.com.au so we can help you out.

In sale and peak periods, we’ll be sure to let you know if we’re seeing any delays in our warehouse so you know where your order is up to.

Easy! As soon as you add pieces to your cart and the total clicks over $150 in value, the free shipping automatically kicks in. No need to do anything at all!

You sure do! Each order comes with a Clothing The Gaps logo sticker that is UV resistant for 3-5 years if you wanted to use it outdoors.

We love spotting them on peoples cars, drink bottles, laptops, mail boxes…the works!

Yup, we ship to many countries worldwide.

Shipping fees and delivery times will vary based on your location and will be calculated at checkout.

Product Info - Fit, Care and Manufacturing

Absolutely! We are committed to ethical manufacturing practices both locally and overseas. All of our products are made with care and respect for both people and the planet.

We are always working on improving our processes as we know we can always do better.

We are proud to have been the first known Aboriginal business to hold Ethical Clothing Australia accreditation.

Products that are Ethical Clothing Australia accredited are in our ‘Locally Made’ collection.

Our offshore partners play a crucial role in our supply chain too. The country of origin in clearly labelled in each product and on the physical labelling.

Our aim is that anyone who wants to wear their values can do so at
Clothing The Gaps.

We currently offer Kids clothing in 000 – Size 14, and Adults in sizes XS – 7XL.

For specific measurements, please refer to the size guide in each product.

All of our pieces are gender neutral and the size we recommend all really depends on how you want to style your pieces!

If you’d like a roomier fit, size up. If you’d like to wear your tee under a blazer, pick a size closer to your usual size.

For people who usually wear clothing that uses a Womens 10/12/14/16 sizing system, our size Small equates roughly to a true to size 12, or a roomier size 10.

Our sizing charts for each product will help you pick a piece that works for what you’re looking for.

We want to see your merch with a message last forever! We invest in great quality pieces to ensure you get years of wear out of your pieces of CTG.

To assist in the longevity of your clothing and that you get to wear them for years, we recommend washing your items in cold water with similar colours and hanging them to dry.

Avoid using bleach and tumble drying, instead – line dry in the shade.
