Introducing our revamped "Empty" Flag tee, a symbol of the power of clothing in driving social change, inspired by the impactful #FreeTheFlag Campaign. This tee proudly displays an embroidered flag on the front. On the back, the phrase 'Wear Your Values' is nestled mid-side, adding a touch of understated cool.

Clothing The Gaps spearheaded the #FreeTheFlag Campaign from June 2019 to January 2022, rallying against a cease and desist from WAM Clothing for producing merchandise featuring the Aboriginal flag. Through our petition, #PrideNotProfit, and the incredible support of our community, we achieved a monumental victory on January 24, 2022, freeing the flag for all.

But, purchasing from Aboriginal brands, businesses and wearing Indigenous designs alone is surface-level allyship. There needs to be more commitment than just buying from Aboriginal brands and businesses.

Wearing Aboriginal design is not dismantling a system that oppresses Indigenous people. Allies need to do more and learn more. Wearing our tees is a great starting point.
