The 2023 NAIDOC theme is For Our Elders.
This design has a river featuring the message 'For Our Elders' flowing through to represent that our Elders are integral to our survival and way of life.
On either side of the river are campsites representing Communities of people who are centring First Nations Elders and voices by respecting and honouring the important role they play and their prominent place in our families and Communities. 

"They are cultural knowledge holders, trailblazers, nurturers, advocates, teachers, survivors, leaders, hard workers and our loved ones."

Wearing Aboriginal design is not dismantling a system that oppresses Indigenous people. Allies need to do more and learn more. Wearing our tees is a great starting point.
